Spring Academy Programming

The Glenmore Junior Tennis Academy strives to give access and opportunity to all, while cultivating skilled tennis players who exemplify the excellence through sportsmanship and life.  The Academy works with our 501c3 partner, the ISO Excellence Foundation, to provide inclusive opportunities with financial assistance for tuition, equipment, and tournament fees if needed. Through this support and partnership, we aim to empower and inspire the next generation of tennis players to achieve excellence both on and off the court.  

This year, in addition to red, orange, green and yellow ball, new is a tots level for those a little too young for red ball but ready to start learning tennis nonetheless. Also new is the option to add-on a match play component to the regular red, orange, green and yellow ball programming. The John Morris League returns for its second season, and new for 2026 is a Strength and Agility program for more advanced players. Play starts 3/1 and runs through 5/31, sign up month-by-month, or for all three months at once.

Levels:

• Tots is for ages 4-6 who aren't quite ready for Red Ball.
• Red Ball FUNdamentals is for ages 6-8 and features shorter racquets, slower balls, and a smaller court.
• Orange Ball FUNdamental is for ages 6-10 and focuses on stroke production and the basics of match play.
• Green and Yellow Ball FUNdamentals for juniors who are ready to move to regular equipment on a full-sized court and start focusing on improving their play while still having fun, with Green Ball for ages 6-15 and Yellow Ball for ages 10-16.
• If you're unsure of which level your child should be in, Rob offers playing consolations.

Playing times:

Each level meets several different times per week, and juniors can participate in either one or two days per week.

• Tots meets Mon/Wed 3:30-4:30pm and Thu 2:30-3pm
• Red Ball meets Mon/Tue/Wed 4-5pm and Sun 3-4pm
• Orange Ball meets Mon/Tue/Wed 4-5pm and Sun 3-4pm
• Green Ball meets Mon/Tue/Wed 5-6:30pm and Sun 4-5:30pm
• Yellow Ball meets Mon/Tue/Wed 5-6:30pm and Sun 4-5:30pm.

Costs:

• Register month-by-month, or register for all three months at once. The prices below are for one day per week for all three months.
• Subject to availability, juniors also have the option to participate in two days per week at double the prices listed below.
• The price for one month instead of three months is one-third of the price listed below.
• Need-based scholarships are available through our 501c3 partner, the ISO Excellence Foundation.
